  • Whole plant is pounded in hot water and filtrate is used to cure jaundice , pneumonia, fever, cold and cough. 
  • Bruised leaves applied over forehead provide relief in headache. 
  • The young stem bark is tied as bandage over cuts and wounds for early healing.
