Strangury
Strangury is a condition that is characterized by frequent and painful urination. It is usually caused by an obstruction in the urinary tract, such as a stone, tumor, or infection. The obstruction can cause the muscles of the bladder to spasm, making it difficult to pass urine. Symptoms include a strong and constant urge to urinate, pain during urination, and a sensation of incomplete emptying of the bladder. Treatment usually involves the removal of the obstruction, but medications such as antispasmodics can help reduce the symptoms.
