Uteroparalytic
Uteroparalytic is a medicinal activity that is used to paralyze the muscles of the uterus. This is typically done to prevent preterm labor and to help a pregnant woman carry the fetus to full term. It is usually done by administering a medication, such as magnesium sulfate, to the mother that relaxes the uterine muscles, inhibiting contractions and reducing the risk of preterm labor. Uteroparalytic can be used to reduce the risk of preterm labor, as well as to treat preterm labor that has already begun. This activity can also be used to help a woman who is experiencing pain or cramping in the abdomen during pregnancy.
