Photodermatitic

Photodermatitic activity is a type of skin reaction that occurs after exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light, typically from the sun. Symptoms vary but usually include redness, itching, and swelling of the skin. In some cases, blisters may also form. Photodermatitis is caused when UV light damages the skin’s cells, which triggers the release of inflammatory compounds. These compounds cause the skin to become red, itchy, and swollen. Photodermatitis is usually treated with topical creams, ointments, or medications to reduce inflammation and itching. Sunscreen and other sun protection measures are recommended to prevent further UV damage.
