Liniment

Liniment is a topical medicine typically used for the relief of minor aches and pains associated with muscles, joints, and tendons. It is usually made up of an oil and alcohol base with various herbal extracts, such as eucalyptus, peppermint, rosemary, lavender, and wintergreen. Liniment is often used to reduce inflammation and provide temporary relief of muscular soreness and stiffness, as well as the relief of minor joint and tendon pain. It can also be used to improve circulation and reduce swelling. Liniment is often applied before or after exercising to help reduce pain, or on a regular basis to keep muscles and joints loose.
