Insecticide
Insecticides are substances used to kill or repel insects. They work by targeting the nervous system of the insect, causing paralysis and death. Insecticides are generally divided into two categories: contact insecticides, which kill the insect upon contact, and systemic insecticides, which are absorbed by the insect and then travel through its body, affecting its nervous system. Insecticides can be used to control a wide variety of pests, including mosquitoes, termites, fleas, and cockroaches. They are also used to protect crops from damaging insects. Insecticides are available in a variety of forms, including aerosol sprays, dusts, gels, and baits. They are commonly used in both residential and commercial settings.
