Deodorant
Deodorant is a personal hygiene product that helps to eliminate body odor and reduce perspiration. It typically contains an antiperspirant, which works by reducing sweat production, and a fragrance to cover up the smell of sweat. Deodorants are generally used on the underarms, but can also be used to reduce sweating in the feet, hands, and other parts of the body. Deodorants work by either masking the smell of sweat with a pleasant scent, or by killing the bacteria that cause body odor. The active ingredients in deodorants typically include aluminum salts, which work to reduce sweat production, as well as other antiseptic agents to kill bacteria.
