Antispermatogenic

Antispermatogenic is a medicinal activity that involves the use of substances to reduce or stop the production of sperm by the body. It is most commonly used as a form of male contraception. This activity can be achieved through the use of certain pharmaceutical drugs, such as gonadotropin-releasing hormone analogs, as well as certain herbal supplements. By reducing or eliminating sperm production, the risk of unwanted pregnancies is minimized. In some cases, antispermatogenic drugs may also be used to treat male infertility. Additionally, they are sometimes used in combination with other drugs to treat certain medical conditions, such as prostate cancer.
