Antinephrotic
Antinephrotic is a type of medication that is used to treat a variety of kidney diseases, including nephrotic syndrome, a condition in which the kidneys are unable to filter waste and excess fluids from the blood. Antinephrotic medications work by reducing inflammation in the kidneys, decreasing the amount of protein that is lost in the urine, and preventing further damage to the kidney cells. These medications can also reduce blood pressure and help prevent kidney failure. The most commonly used antinephrotic medications are corticosteroids and angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, which work by reducing inflammation in the kidneys and promoting healthy kidney function.
