Antidote alkaloid

An antidote alkaloid is a type of drug or chemical compound used to counteract the effects of a toxin or poison. It is typically used to treat poisoning caused by certain types of drugs, such as opioids, as well as certain other substances, such as alcohol. Antidote alkaloids act by binding to and neutralizing the toxins in the body, allowing them to be safely eliminated from the system. The most common antidote alkaloids used for treating drug overdoses include naloxone, flumazenil, and physostigmine.
