Anti-implantation

Anti-implantation is a type of medicinal activity that is used to prevent a fertilized egg from being implanted in the uterus and growing into a fetus. It is often used as a form of birth control, and can be achieved through the use of different medications or medical devices. For example, a copper intrauterine device (IUD) works by releasing copper ions, which can prevent the egg from attaching to the uterine wall. Other medications, such as progestin and mifepristone, can also be used to prevent implantation by suppressing the hormones needed for a successful implantation. This type of medical activity is also used to terminate early pregnancies, by preventing the development of the fetus. In some cases, anti-implantation is a more effective form of birth control than traditional methods, as it can be more effective in preventing pregnancy.
