Worm
Worms are parasites that live in the human body. They can cause diseases such as schistosomiasis, roundworm, hookworm, and tapeworm. These worms can enter the body through contaminated food, water, or soil, and can cause infection. Some worms, such as tapeworms, can grow to over a meter long and can cause serious health problems. Once the worms enter the body, they can cause damage to the organs and tissues, as well as interfere with the body’s ability to absorb nutrients. Symptoms of worm infestation can include abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and weight loss. Treatment for worm infestations usually involves medication to kill the worms, as well as dietary changes to prevent reinfection. In some cases, surgery may be required to remove the worms.
