Ulcer peptic

Peptic ulcers are open sores that develop on the inside lining of the stomach, small intestine, or esophagus. They are a common digestive disorder, and sometimes can be painful and difficult to treat. Peptic ulcers are caused by a combination of factors, including excess stomach acid, infection with the bacteria Helicobacter pylori, and the use of certain medications, such as aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Symptoms of peptic ulcers include abdominal pain, heartburn, nausea, vomiting, bloating, and loss of appetite. Treatment can include medications to reduce stomach acid production, antibiotics to treat infection, and lifestyle changes to reduce stress and spicy foods.
