Tennis Elbow
Tennis elbow, also known as lateral epicondylitis, is an overuse injury to the tendons of the forearm that attach to the outside (lateral) part of the elbow. It is a common injury among tennis players, but can also occur in people who do not play tennis. Symptoms typically include pain and tenderness on the outside of the elbow and can be aggravated by gripping or squeezing motions. Treatment typically includes rest, physical therapy, and pain medications. In severe cases, surgery may be required.
