Spondylosis
Spondylosis is a type of degenerative joint or disc disease that affects the spine. It is caused by the breakdown of the discs that separate the vertebrae in the spine, resulting in the bones rubbing against each other. This can lead to pain and stiffness in the neck, middle and lower back. It can also affect other parts of the body such as the arms, legs and hips. Symptoms may include pain, numbness, tingling, weakness, and decreased range of motion. Treatment options for Spondylosis include physical therapy, pain medications, and sometimes surgery.
