Snakebite
Snakebite is a medical condition caused by the bite of a venomous snake. It can range from mild to life-threatening depending on the type of snake and the amount of venom injected. Symptoms may include pain, swelling, and blisters around the bite, as well as nausea, vomiting, and altered mental status. Treatment includes antivenom, intravenous fluids, and wound care. Prevention includes avoiding areas where snakes are known to inhabit and wearing protective clothing.
