Polymenorrhea

Polymenorrhea is a medical condition in which a woman has her menstrual period more frequently than is normal. The normal menstrual cycle is usually between 21 and 35 days, and women with this condition usually have a cycle of 21 days or less. This condition can be caused by several factors, such as hormonal imbalances, stress, excessive exercise, or other health issues. Symptoms of polymenorrhea may include heavy bleeding, longer menstrual periods, and spotting between periods. Polymenorrhea can be treated with hormonal medications, lifestyle changes, or in some cases, surgery. Treatment is focused on restoring a normal menstrual cycle and decreasing the frequency of periods.
