Pollakiuria
Pollakiuria is a medical condition characterized by frequent, increased urination. It is not a disease or disorder in itself, but rather a symptom of another underlying medical condition. This condition is more common in women than men and can range from mild to severe. The most common cause of medical Pollakiuria is urinary tract infection (UTI). Other possible causes include overactive bladder, diabetes, kidney or bladder stones, and certain medications. In some cases, no underlying cause can be found. Pollakiuria can cause a number of symptoms, including frequent urination, urgency to urinate, pain or burning sensation when urinating, and blood in the urine. Treatment for this condition depends on the underlying cause and may include antibiotics for UTIs, medications to relax bladder muscles, or lifestyle modifications such as limiting caffeine and alcohol intake. In some cases, surgery may be required.
