Pneumonia
Pneumonia is an infection in one or both of the lungs. It is usually caused by bacteria, viruses, or fungi and is characterized by inflammation of the air sacs in the lungs. Symptoms of pneumonia include chest pain, shortness of breath, fever, coughing, and chills. Treatment for pneumonia depends on the type and severity of the infection, and may include rest, antibiotics, and fluids. In severe cases, hospitalization may be necessary.
