Neurodermatosis
Neurodermatosis is an inflammatory skin condition that is characterised by an itchy and scaly rash. It is usually caused by an allergic reaction to a particular irritant, such as an insect bite, animal dander, or certain food or drug allergies. It can also be triggered by stress, anxiety, and other emotional factors. Symptoms of Neurodermatosis include itchy skin, dryness, redness, and thickened patches of skin. In severe cases, the rash can spread to other parts of the body. Neurodermatosis is a chronic condition that can be difficult to treat. Treatment typically includes avoiding the source of the allergy and using over-the-counter or prescription medications, such as corticosteroids, antihistamines, and topical creams. In some cases, psychological therapy and lifestyle changes may be recommended to help manage the symptoms of Neurodermatosis.
