Myocardiosis
Myocardiosis is an inflammatory disorder of the heart muscle, or myocardium. It is caused by an infection, autoimmune disease, or toxic exposure. When the myocardium is affected, it can lead to changes in the structure and/or function of the heart, which can cause symptoms such as chest pain, palpitations, fatigue, and shortness of breath. Treatment of myocardiosis can include medications to reduce inflammation and/or infection, or surgery to repair or replace damaged heart tissue. In some cases, lifestyle changes, such as dietary modifications and exercise, can be helpful in managing the symptoms.
