Myocardiopathy
Myocardiopathy is a general term used to describe an abnormality of the heart muscle, or myocardium. It can be caused by various factors including bacterial or viral infections, genetic abnormalities, or autoimmune disorders. Symptoms of myocardiopathy can include chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, and fatigue. In severe cases, myocardiopathy can lead to congestive heart failure and even death. Treatment of myocardiopathy usually involves medications and lifestyle modifications such as reducing stress and exercising regularly. In some cases, surgery may be required to improve the function of the heart muscle.
