Migraine

Migraine is a neurological disorder characterized by a recurrent headache that can range from mild to severe intensity and often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and sound. The cause of medical Migraine is not fully understood, but it is believed to involve both genetic and environmental factors. Migraine attacks are typically triggered by certain factors such as stress, lack of sleep, certain foods, hormones, and environmental factors. During a Migraine attack, the blood vessels in the brain become inflamed and cause a severe throbbing pain in one side of the head. Nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and sound can also occur. Treatment for medical Migraine consists of medications, lifestyle changes, and alternative therapies.
