Metrorrhagia
Metrorrhagia is a term used to describe abnormal uterine bleeding that is unrelated to the menstrual cycle. This type of bleeding is usually caused by a medical condition or disorder, such as uterine fibroids, endometriosis, or pelvic inflammatory disease. In some cases, Metrorrhagia can be caused by certain medications, such as hormone replacement therapy, or can occur due to a traumatic injury. It is important to note that abnormal uterine bleeding is not a disease in itself, but rather a symptom of an underlying medical condition. In addition, Metrorrhagia can be accompanied by other symptoms, such as pelvic pain, abdominal cramping, and fatigue. Treatment of Metrorrhagia depends on the underlying cause, and may include medication, lifestyle changes, surgery, or hormone therapy.
