Leukocytosis

Leukocytosis is a condition where the number of white blood cells (leukocytes) in the blood is higher than normal. This is usually a sign of infection or inflammation in the body. Leukocytosis can be caused by a variety of conditions, including bacterial infections, viral infections, and cancer. Symptoms of leukocytosis may include fever, fatigue, and an increased risk of infection. Treatment for leukocytosis may include antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medications, and cancer treatments, depending on the underlying cause.
