Lacrimosis

Lacrimosis is a medical term for excessive tear production, or tearing. It is a symptom of various conditions and diseases, including infection, inflammation, allergies, trauma, and more. This condition can be caused by a variety of factors, such as irritation of the lacrimal glands, a disruption in the drainage of tears, or an abnormal production of tears. It is usually accompanied by other symptoms, such as redness and swelling of the eyes, and blurred vision. Treatment for lacrimosis depends on the underlying cause, and may include medications, lifestyle changes, or even surgery.
