Indigestion
Indigestion is a non-specific digestive disorder that is characterized by pain or discomfort in the upper abdomen. It is often referred to as dyspepsia and may be accompanied by symptoms such as bloating, belching, nausea, vomiting, and heartburn. Indigestion can be caused by a variety of factors, including eating certain foods, eating too quickly, drinking too much alcohol, and stress. Treatment may include lifestyle changes, such as avoiding certain foods, eating smaller meals, and avoiding alcohol, as well as medications. In some cases, indigestion can be an indication of a more serious condition, such as an ulcer or gallbladder disease, and should be evaluated by a doctor.
