Hematuria

Hematuria is a medical condition in which there is an abnormally large amount of red blood cells present in the urine. This is usually caused by a problem in the urinary tract, such as an infection or a kidney stone. Hematuria can also be caused by an injury to the urinary tract, or as a side effect of certain medications. In some cases, it can be a sign of a serious underlying medical condition, such as kidney disease or bladder cancer. Symptoms of Hematuria may include pain or burning during urination, cloudy or pink-tinged urine, and pain in the lower abdomen or back. Treatment for Hematuria will depend on the underlying cause, but may include antibiotics, surgery, or other treatments.
