Gastroduodenosis
Gastroduodenosis is a medical term used to describe the inflammation of the stomach and duodenum. It is also known as gastric duodenitis. The duodenum is the first part of the small intestine, located between the stomach and the jejunum. The cause of gastroduodenosis is unknown, but it is believed to be related to an imbalance of stomach acid and digestive enzymes. Symptoms of gastroduodenosis include abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Treatment for gastroduodenosis usually involves medications to reduce stomach acidity and improve digestion. In some cases, surgery may be necessary to remove damaged tissue or repair the stomach and duodenum.
