Gall Bladder

The gallbladder is a small organ located on the right side of the abdominal cavity, just under the liver. It stores bile produced by the liver and releases it into the small intestine. Bile helps with digestion, particularly the digestion of fats. The gallbladder may become inflamed or infected, leading to conditions such as cholecystitis or gallstone formation. Treatment may include using medications, dietary changes, or surgery.
