Fullness

Fullness is a medical term used to describe a sensation of bloating or heaviness in the abdomen, which can be caused by a variety of conditions. It can be a symptom of indigestion, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), or even a side effect of certain medications. Fullness can also result from a feeling of pressure in the chest due to a hiatal hernia or an accumulation of gas in the large intestine. Fullness can be accompanied by other symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or changes in bowel habits. Treatment depends on the underlying cause and may involve dietary or lifestyle modifications, over-the-counter medications, or prescription medications.
