Fibrosis

Fibrosis is a condition caused by the formation of excess collagen in tissues or organs. It can affect any part of the body and is often caused by chronic inflammation or injury. Fibrosis can lead to tissue and organ stiffening, scarring, and loss of function. Symptoms can range from mild to severe and can include pain, swelling, loss of range of motion, and difficulty breathing. Treatment for fibrosis can include medications, physical therapy, and lifestyle changes. Surgery may also be an option.
