Fibroid
Fibroids, also known as uterine leiomyomas, are noncancerous tumors that grow in the uterus. These growths are made up of smooth muscle and fibrous tissues and vary in size. They can be as small as a pea or as large as a grapefruit. Fibroids can cause a variety of symptoms, depending on their size and location, and can affect a woman’s fertility. Treatment options range from watchful waiting to surgical interventions.
