Fatigue

Medical fatigue, also referred to as chronic fatigue, is a condition characterized by an overwhelming feeling of exhaustion and low energy. It is not the same as feeling tired due to lack of sleep or overexertion. Medical fatigue is a persistent and debilitating condition that can affect both physical and mental health. Common symptoms include difficulty concentrating, decreased motivation, and an overall feeling of lethargy. Other symptoms may include headaches, muscle aches and pains, and difficulty sleeping. Medical fatigue is often associated with other medical conditions such as depression, chronic pain, and autoimmune diseases. Treatment for medical fatigue often includes lifestyle changes such as increasing physical activity and getting adequate rest, as well as medications and therapy.
