Eruption

Eruption is an umbrella term that is used to describe any kind of skin eruption that is caused by a medical condition or the treatment of a medical condition. Medical eruptions can be caused by drug reactions, diseases, or some types of medical treatments. These eruptions can be either acute (developing suddenly) or chronic (developing over a long period of time). Medical eruptions can range from mild rashes to severe skin reactions, including blisters, hives, and other lesions. Depending on the cause, medical eruptions may require treatment with topical medications, oral medications, or both. In some cases, medical eruptions can be very serious and require immediate medical attention.
