Epithelioma

Epithelioma is a type of cancer that affects the epithelial cells, which are the cells that form the linings of organs, glands and body cavities. It arises from the abnormal growth of these cells and can occur anywhere in the body. Epithelioma can be benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). Malignant epithelioma can spread to other parts of the body and cause serious health problems. Symptoms of epithelioma include pain, swelling, and lumps in the affected area. Treatment for epithelioma typically involves surgery to remove the affected cells, radiation therapy to kill any remaining cancer cells, and/or chemotherapy to kill any remaining cancer cells.
