Epicondylosis
Epicondylosis, also known as “tennis elbow”, is a condition that causes the tendons of the elbow to become inflamed and irritated. It is usually caused by repetitive use of the elbow joint, such as in sports or certain jobs. Symptoms may include pain and tenderness on the outside of the elbow, weakness in the elbow, and decreased range of motion. Treatment includes rest, ice, anti-inflammatory medications, physical therapy, and in some cases, surgery.
