Earache

Earache is a pain that is felt in or around the ear. It is a common symptom of many different medical conditions, including infections, earwax buildup, and allergies. It can also be caused by trauma to the ear, such as a blow to the head or the insertion of an object into the ear. The pain may be sharp or dull, and can be accompanied by other symptoms, such as a fever, dizziness, hearing loss, and ringing in the ear. Treatment for earache depends on the underlying cause and may include medications, ear drops, or surgery.
