Dyspepsia
Dyspepsia, also known as indigestion, is a common digestive disorder. It is characterized by pain or discomfort in the upper abdomen, often accompanied by symptoms such as burping, bloating, nausea, and heartburn. Dyspepsia is usually caused by lifestyle factors such as eating too much, eating too quickly, eating greasy or spicy foods, drinking too much alcohol, and stress. Treatment options include lifestyle modifications, such as avoiding trigger foods and eating smaller meals, as well as medications such as antacids and proton pump inhibitors.
