Dysbiosis
Dysbiosis is a term used to describe an imbalance of microbial populations, often in the digestive tract, that can have a negative effect on the human body. Dysbiosis is caused by a variety of factors, such as antibiotics, poor diet, stress, and environmental toxins. Dysbiosis can lead to a variety of health problems, including autoimmune diseases, gastrointestinal issues, obesity, allergies, and skin conditions. Symptoms may include bloating, abdominal pain, constipation, and/or diarrhea. Treatment may include dietary changes, probiotics, prebiotics, and antifungal or antimicrobial medications.
