Colorectosis

Colorectosis, also known as large intestine obstruction, is a medical disorder that occurs when the large intestine (colon) becomes blocked and can't pass stool. It is typically caused by a buildup of hardened stool, called a fecal impaction, or by a physical obstruction like a tumor or a hernia. Symptoms of colorectosis include abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, vomiting, constipation, and fever. Treatment typically involves surgical removal of the obstruction, and sometimes the use of laxatives or enemas to soften the stool. In severe cases, a colostomy may be necessary.
