Cancer sinus
Cancer sinus is a rare type of cancer that affects the sinuses. It is also known as sinonasal cancer or sinonasal malignancy. It is a type of head and neck cancer that affects the sinuses, which are the hollow cavities inside the nose. This type of cancer is more commonly seen in adults over 50 years of age and is more common in males than in females. Symptoms of cancer sinus can include nasal blockage, nasal discharge, facial pain, and vision changes. Diagnosis is made through imaging tests, such as CT scans and MRIs, and biopsies. Treatment options include surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. In some cases, a combination of treatments may be used.
