Cancer intestine

Cancer intestine is a type of cancer that starts in the small intestine. It is also known as small bowel cancer. This type of cancer is rare, accounting for less than 5 percent of all gastrointestinal cancers. The exact cause of medical cancer intestine is unknown, but some risk factors have been identified, such as smoking, a family history of the disease, and certain genetic syndromes. Symptoms of medical cancer intestine include abdominal pain, weight loss, and fatigue. Diagnosis is made through endoscopic procedures and imaging tests such as CT scans and MRI scans. Treatment may include surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy.
