Bronchosis
Bronchitis is an inflammation or irritation of the bronchial tubes, which are the airways that carry air to and from the lungs. It is usually caused by an infection, typically one caused by a virus or bacteria, but it can also be caused by an allergic reaction. Symptoms of bronchitis can include a cough with mucus, chest pain or tightness, a fever, and difficulty breathing. Treatment usually involves rest, fluids, and over-the-counter medications such as cough suppressants or decongestants. In more severe cases, antibiotics or corticosteroids may be prescribed.
