Amblyopia
Amblyopia, also known as lazy eye, is a condition in which one eye has reduced vision due to abnormal visual development during childhood. It is caused by a lack of use of the weaker eye, which causes the brain to favor the stronger eye, leading to reduced vision in the weaker eye. Treatment typically involves a combination of corrective lenses, eye patches, and vision therapy. If left untreated, amblyopia can lead to permanent vision loss.
