Fampridine

Fampridine is a medication used to treat people with multiple sclerosis (MS). It is used to improve walking speed, muscle strength, and coordination in adults with MS. It works by blocking the breakdown of certain chemicals in the brain that are involved in nerve signaling. Fampridine has been shown to improve walking speed and coordination in people with MS who have difficulty walking. It is taken as a tablet twice a day. Common side effects include nausea, headache, dizziness, and insomnia.
