Pindolol

Pindolol is a beta-blocker medication used in the treatment of high blood pressure and other cardiovascular conditions. It works by blocking the action of certain hormones and chemicals in the body, resulting in a reduced force of heart contractions and a slower heart rate. Pindolol can also be used to treat certain types of tremors, and can be used in combination with other medications to treat depression. It is available in tablet form and is usually taken once or twice daily. Side effects may include dizziness, nausea, and fatigue.

Pindolol is a medication sold under the brand name Visken, among others. It belongs to a class of medications called beta-blockers . It is primarily used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It works by relaxing blood vessels and slowing heart rate to improve blood flow and decrease blood pressure.

Pindolol can also be used to prevent angina (chest pain). It is not a cure for high blood pressure or angina, but it can help control these conditions and lower the risk of having a stroke, heart attack, or other heart problems.
