Lasmiditan

Lasmiditan is a prescription medicine used to treat adults with episodic or chronic migraine headaches. It is a serotonin receptor agonist and works by impacting serotonin levels in the brain, which helps to reduce the pain of migraines. It is taken as a tablet and is typically used when other migraine medications have not been effective.

Lasmiditan is a prescription medication sold under the brand name Reyvow. It is used for the acute treatment of migraine headaches, with or without aura, in adults . It belongs to a new class of drugs called ditans, which work differently from other migraine medications like triptans.

Lasmiditan works by blocking pain signals in the brain and reducing inflammation around nerves involved in migraines. It is not intended to prevent migraines or reduce their frequency.
