Dipyrocetyl

Dipyrocetyl (also known as DPC) is a combination of two drugs, dipyrone and acetylsalicylic acid, used to treat pain and inflammation. It is often used to relieve the pain of rheumatic diseases, migraines, and other painful conditions. It works by blocking the production of certain chemicals in the body that cause pain and inflammation. It also helps reduce fever. Dipyrocetyl is available in tablet and suppository form.

Dipyrocetyl is a pharmaceutical drug used as a pain reliever (analgesic) and fever reducer (antipyretic). It belongs to a class of organic compounds known as acylsalicylic acids, which are derivatives of salicylic acid, the main active ingredient in aspirin.

Dipyrocetyl has trade names such as Movirene and Artromialgina [1]. However, it is not widely available and is not commonly used compared to other pain relievers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen.

I couldn't find any information on why Dipyrocetyl is not as popular as other pain relievers. It could be due to several reasons, such as lesser effectiveness, more side effects, or interaction with other medications.
