Cinepazet is a prescription eye drop used to treat elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in adults with primary open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It contains the active ingredient brinzolamide, which is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor. It works by decreasing the amount of fluid produced in the eye, thereby reducing IOP. Cinepazet is administered as one drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily. Common side effects may include stinging, burning, irritation, blurred vision, dry eyes, and headache.
